Friday, March 4 - Sunday March 6
Sitting: 9:00 – 10:00 am • Roshi teaching: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (MT)
Cause and effect. So self-evident and indisputable, like gravity, why make a big deal about it, much less the foundation and cornerstone of a spiritual teaching, a religion? Why even be aware of it?
Is karma some implacable force of retribution, of justice. Is our karma our own personal, portable penitentiary whose walls grow thicker and thicker as long as we live, and beyond?
Genpo Roshi has said, “My karma is my dharma.” What does that mean?
Is that true for all of us? If my karma is my dharma, what is my dharma?
