Big Mind Zen Programs are year-long and multiyear programs that include a series of events and services that are all paid for at once when you register for a program. There are two programs happening now that are still available for registration, the Big Mind Zen One-Year Program, and the Four-Year Four Yana Program, which is four individual years that combine into one program. Below are links to these programs that describe them in detail. The Big Mind Zen One-Year Program is open to everyone and the Four Yana program is only open to Active Student members. The One-Year Big Mind Zen Program
Big Mind Zen is a 21st century practice dedicated to and for Westerners who wish to go to the depths of Zen realization and actualization. It integrates traditional Zen training, including elements of Soto and Rinzai Zen as well as Vajrayana, and the Big Mind process, in a time when we are realizing more deeply than ever the uncertainty of life and the importance of having a real sitting practice along with a greater appreciation of life and the impermanence of all things as well as oneself.
The Four-Year Four Yana Program
"The time has come to create a new path towards becoming a Zen teacher in the lineage of Big Heart Zen, a path which, in my view, embraces and transcends both the spiritual and the psychological, the absolute and the relative and comes from an awakened consciousness or the apex. It will be a four year, four stage program beginning October 17, 2020, for those who wish to join at that time, and others can join in February 13, 2021 without missing anything. This program is by invitation only for those who have been practicing for many years and who I trust have the heart as well as the patience, perseverance, and who may have the capacity to eventually become a Zen teacher in our lineage. In recognition and honor of where you are at in your accomplishment, I am asking you if you would like to join me on this path."
