Join Genpo Roshi in appreciating this central event in Buddhist history, the day of the historical Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment. It is commemorated in Zen tradition as Rohatsu (literally, the 8th day of the 12th month), and marks the final day of the most intensive sesshin of the year.
While as a Sangha we cannot gather in person, we can celebrate this day together wherever we are. We invite you to join us in renewing our connections with our origins, with our tradition, with Genpo Roshi and all our teachers past and present, and with each other.
Open to all by donation. Registration required.
