Instructions for Joining “Quarantine…” Video Conferences

“Quarantine Your Self with Genpo Roshi” Zoom Video Conferences
Sunday – Saturday, March 22-28,
11:00 am – 12:30 pm Mountain Time (US and Canada)

Thank you for registering.  We are glad you will be joining us!

Please note that each day’s video conference has a different Zoom Meeting URL link and ID, and so the link for each day (or the phone number if you are joining by phone) is different and unique for that day.  The information and link you will need for each day are given below.

Each day’s session will begin with chanting the Enmei Juku Kannon Gyo three times, followed by a Dedication chanted by Genpo Roshi.  You will find these texts at the bottom of this page.

If you have any questions or comments for Genpo Roshi, contact Mary Ellen by email.  For questions concerning access to the Zoom Meeting program, email Mark at publishing@bigmind.org.

A special page — Comments from Our Quarantine Retreat — is now available on the Big Mind website, dedicated to sharing comments from and for the Kanzeon and Big Mind community during the coronavirus pandemic.  Click here, or go to the word “Quarantine” in the navigation menu at the top of each page on the Big Mind website.

      Dedication

The Buddha turns the Dharma Wheel
and so reality is shown in all its many forms.
He liberates all suffering sentient beings,
and brings them to great joy.

We sincerely seek the beneficent guidance of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.
In reciting the Enmei Jukku Kannon Gyo
and in offering flowers, candlelight, and incense,
we dedicate its merits to:

the peace of the world
all of our ancestors
and to all beings in the world

and especially to those who have passed on from the coronavirus,
may each and every one of them have a swift and safe passage to the other shore.

We especially pray for the health and well-being of
all those throughout the entire world who are suffering from this illness

May they be serene through all their ills.

May penetrating light dispel the darkness of ignorance.
May we each have the courage to face our fears,
and the mind flower bloom in eternal spring.

May we ascend to the throne of Enlightenment
and realize the Buddha Way together.

All Buddhas throughout space and time,
All Bodhisattva Mahasattvas,
Maha Prajna Paramita
