The retreat features group teaching and private interviews with the teachers, and plenty of time to hang out during the day and evening to meditate and enjoy Hawaii with three highly experienced Roshi's in our lineage.

This unique In-Person retreat will be held at the beautiful Manini Beach Park in Captain Cook on the Big Island of Hawaii. You will fly into Kona Airport (KOA) at least a day before to get settled and then the retreat begins at 2:00 PM on Monday September 25. The retreat concludes on Friday September 29. Formal teaching will be from 2-5 PM each day. There will also be a free gentle yoga class each day from 10:30 am to Noon given by Birgitte Gorm-Hansen.

We suggest the Manago Hotel in Captain Cook as it is the closest to the retreat and has nice reasonably priced rooms. It doesn't look great from the outside but the rooms are clean and nice and there are great views from the 3rd floor. There are many other hotels in Kona that are available as well.
