Our 2-Day Retreats with Genpo Roshi are filled with warm and friendly interaction and Big Mind Zen teaching. Each day is 2.5 hours with meditation sessions, teaching, and question and answer time, and of course, a couple short breaks.

2-Day Weekend Big Mind Zen Retreat with Genpo Roshi

Genpo Roshi When we are fearful or worried we use our thinking mind and intelligence to anticipate what we can, or should, do to tame our fears and control our lives. No one accepts or wants this life to be out of control. We work to avoid surprises, bumps in the road and everything we fear that may cause us pain or suffering. Gaining true control of one’s life is far simpler than what our fear-based self could even imagine. The secret to gaining complete control is letting go of needing to be in control of everything.

Join Genpo Roshi in personally exploring what barriers stand in the way of your being truly the one who is in control of your own life, and how to relinquish the fear of needing to always be in control.

This weekend retreat is designed to give participants an opportunity to work closely with Genpo Roshi and the Big Mind Zen process on this topic in a warm, friendly, and interactive atmosphere. You'll have time to ask questions and share your experiences.
